It's been a while since writing... a lot has been happening. Where to begin.

First off, aumlaut had an amazing pair of recording sessions. The first one, on April 30th, gave us three tracks, 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3. That last piece was a 10 minute piece intended for a compilation.

Speaking of the compilation, with the completion of a compilation of local goth/industrial bands, called The Sounds of Hell: {an elegant collection} - Silent Noise kicked itself into existence. Watch for more on s/n here in the future!

Back to aumlaut, tonight, we had our most incredible session yet (after a very very very harrowing day of re-wiring/building the studio. Some new toys were brought in. Because of a quirk in the wiring the drums we were playing to all night didn't get recorded! *laugh* - the resulting piece is VERY ambient, but I like the way it came out. I'm very very happy with it.
